Mold Sampling:
Methods of sample collection

Swab - The most common form of mold sampling. A sterile cotton swab is rubbed onto an area with visible mold growth. After the sample is collected the swab is placed back into the sterile tube, labeled and sent to the laboratory.
Tape - A piece of sterile tape is applied onto the surface then applied directly to a microscope slide for analysis.
Bulk - A physical piece of an area is removed, placed into a sterile biohazard bag, labeled and sent to the laboratory for analysis.
Air - Airborne mold spores are captured by Air-O-Cell cassette and vacuum pump.

Microbiology Laboratory Mold Analysis: All mold samples are analyzed by a Third Party Accredited Microbiology Laboratory under a Chain of Custody.

Reporting & Documentation: We provide our clients the laboratory analysis report, a written inspection report, as well as a mold remediation plan and recommendations for mold prevention.
